Die Departement of Justice soek 'n Hoofstaatlike Regsadviseur om regsnavorsing te doen, advies te gee, wetsontwerpe te sertifiseer en wetgewing vir nasionale departemente te ondersoek.

Vereistes

• 'n NQF-vlak 7 regskwalifikasie/ LLB-graad soos deur SAQA erken. 'n Minimum van vyf (5) jaar toepaslike na-kwalifikasie litigasie-/advieservaring.
• Toelating as 'n Prokureur of Advokaat.
• Ervaring in regsnavorsing en regskonsepwerking.
• Deeglike kennis en begrip van die Grondwetreg, Administratiefreg en die Strafregstelsel.
• Kennis van die Openbare Dienst se Wetgewende en Bestuursraamwerk. 'n Geldige bestuurslisensie.
• Kennis, Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, Public Finance Management, Treasury.
• Vaardighede en Bevoegdhede:Regsnavorsing en -konsepwerking;. Skikkingbeslegting;
• Analitiese denke;
• Kommunikasievaardighede (skriftelik en mondelings);
• Voorlegging en fasiliteringsvaardighede;
• Finansiële bestuursvaardighede;. Rekenaargeletterdheid;
• Strategiese beplanningsvermoëns en leierskapsvaardighede;
• Vermoë om as 'n span, individueel en onder druk te werk.

Pligte

• Doen regsnavorsing insluitend vergelykende regsnavorsing oor wetgewende ontwikkeling.
• Verskaf voorlopige menings, sertifisering van wetsontwerpe en advies oor regskonsepwerking.
• Ondersoek primêre, sekondêre en ondergeskikte wetgewing vir die nasionale departemente en ander staatsorgane.
• Ondersoek en verskaf regsmenings oor internasionale ooreenkomste en verwante aangeleenthede.
• Lewer regsmenings volgens die instruksies ontvang van nasionale departemente en ander staatsorgane.
