Nie-ruimtelike Inligtingspesialis-pos in Pretoria wat 'n Nasionale Diploma in IT en drie jaar se toepassings- en stelselontwikkelingservaring vereis.
Vereistes
- Nasionale Diploma (NQF Vlak 6) in Inligtingstegnologie of 'n tersaaklike kwalifikasie binne die verwante veld soos deur SAQA erken. 'n Minimum van drie (3) jaar se ervaring in toepassings- en stelselontwikkeling of verwante ervaring.
- Alle gekorte lys kandidate, insluitend die SMS, sal twee voor-toetreedingsassesserings onderneem.
- Een sal 'n praktiese oefening wees om 'n kandidaat se geskiktheid op grond van die pos se tegniese en generiese vereistes te bepaal en die ander moet 'n integriteits- (etiese gedrag) assessering wees.
- Bedrewe in Ruimtelike Data-analise-tegnieke.
- Kennis van IT-stelselsondersteuningsdienste, ITV-bestuur se wetgewende raamwerke, en die Stelselontwikkelingslewensiklus (SDLC).
- Kennis van datavisualiseringsinstrumente, outomatisering van kantoor en databasisbestuur.
- Kennis van projekbestuur.
- Deeglike kennis van besigheidsprosesanalise en besigheidsvereiste-analise.
- Probleemoplossing en analitiese metodes.
- Uitstekende organisatoriese en beplanningsvaardighede.

Pligte
- Ontwerp, ontwikkel en onderhou tegniese spesifikasies vir besigheidstoepassings.
- Voer besigheidsvereiste-analise uit en vertaal vereistes in funksionele en tegniese spesifikasies.
- Opstel, hersien en finaliseer stelselintegrasievereistes en toepassingsfunksionaliteit.
- Ontwikkel, onderhou en verbeter toepassingsstelselkoppelvlakke om naatlose integrasie tussen stelsels te verseker.
- Voer voorkomende instandhouding op bestaande toepassings uit om stelselstabiliteit te verbeter en toekomstige probleme te voorkom.
- Inisieer, ontwikkel en onderhou geoutomatiseerde statistiese verslagdoeningsoplossings om besigheidsbesluitneming te ondersteun.
- Verskaf innoverende IT-oplossings om besigheidsuitdagings aan te spreek en operasionele doeltreffendheid te verbeter.
- Monitor en evalueer die implementering van veranderingsversoeke om suksesvolle ontplooiing en nakoming van besigheidsvereistes te verseker.
- Monitor, ondersoek en los stelselfoute en foubemeldings op om stelselbeskikbaarheid en prestasie te handhaaf.
- Administreer gebruikerstoegang, sekuriteitsregte en stelselbeheer in ooreenstem met organisatoriese sekuriteitsbeleide.
- Evalueer sterktes, swakhede, risiko's en integrasievermoëns van die stelsel om geleenthede vir deurlopende verbetering te identifiseer.
- Evalueer die voordele en nadele van pasgemaakte ontwikkelde oplossings teenoor kommersiële van-die-rak (COTS) produkte en verskaf aanbevelings.
- Ontwerp en implementeer databasisstrategieë, monitor databasisgesondheid, optimiseer prestasie, en beplan vir toekomstige kapasiteits- en skaalbaarheidsvereistes.
- Werk saam met die GIS-span om ruimtelike en nie-ruimtelike data te integreer.
- Bestuur databasismigrasies, opgraderings en data-integriteit deurlopend tydens die migrasieproses.
- Ontwikkel, toets en onderhou databasisrugsteun- en rampherstelplanne om besigheidskontinuïteit te verseker.
- Verskaf personeeltoesig, tegniese leiding en ondersteuning terwyl kennisdeling en nakoming van beste praktyke bevorder word.

Entry level requirements for SMS posts: In terms of the Directive on Compulsory Capacity Development, Mandatory Training Days & Minimum Entry Requirements for SMS that was introduced on 1 April 2015, a requirement for all applicants for SMS posts from 1 April 2020 is a successful completion of the Senior Management Pre-Entry Programme as endorsed by the National School of Government (NSG) prior to appointment. The course is available at the NSG under the name Certificate for entry into SMS and the full details can be obtained by following the below link: https://www.thensg.gov.za/training- course/sms-pre-entryprogramme. Furthermore, Shortlisted candidates must provide proof of successful completion of the course. All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. All shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical exercise and interview. Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. Persons appointed will be subjected to a security clearance, the signing of performance agreement and employment contract. The Department reserves the right not to make an appointment.
