Vereistes

• Minimum educational qualification: Qualification that allows registration with South African Nursing Council as Staff Nurse.
• Registration with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
• Experience: Grade 1: none, Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years' appropriate experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with SANC, Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate /recognizable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with SANC.
• Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to work shifts, public holidays, after-hours, night duty and weekend cover for nursing.
• Willingness to rotate within the hospital in different wards.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Competencies (knowledge/skills): Basic communication skills (both written and verbally).
• Ability to function as part of a team.
• Good human relations.
• The ability to render nursing care of an acceptable and safe standard.
