Vereistes

• Baccalaureus in Geneeskunde en Baccalaureus in Chirurgie plus MMED (Radiology) of FCEM (SA).
• Registrasiesertifikaat by die HPCSA as 'n Radiologie Spesialis.
• Graad 1: Geen ervaring vereis.
• Graad 2: 'n Minimum van 5 jaar toepaslike ervaring as Mediese Spesialis na registrasie by die HPCSA as 'n Mediese Spesialis in 'n normale spesialiteit.
• Graad 3: 'n Minimum van 10 jaar toepaslike ervaring as Mediese Spesialis na registrasie by die HPCSA as 'n Mediese Spesialis in 'n normale spesialiteit. 'n Hersussitasiekursus soos APLS (of PALS), ACLS, ATLS sal 'n bykomende voordeel wees.
• Vermoë om 'n span junior en senior dokters te bestuur.
• Vermoë om uitstekende werksverhoudinge met al die dissipline spanne te vestig.
• Goeie leierskapsvaardighede, uitstekende kommunikasie (mondelings en skriftelik) vaardighede, konflikoplossing en goeie interpersoonlike vaardighede.
• Die suksesvolle kandidaat moet aanpasbaar, gedissiplineer en selfversekerd wees.
• Die kandidaat moet in staat wees om onafhanklik en onder druk en buite normale werksure te werk en met 'n diverse span te werk.
• Vermoë om in 'n multidissiplinêre span te werk.
• Kennis van wetgewing, beleide en prosedures met betrekking tot gesondheidsorggebruikers. Rekenaargeletterdheid.
• Ervaring in die publieke sektor sal 'n voordeel wees.
• Van die kandidaat sal verwag word om pendeloortyd te werk soos per diensbehoeftes.

Pligte

• Verseker dat daar 'n protokol vir die bestuur van radiologiepasiente is en dat daar aan die protokol en riglyne voldoen word.
• Koördineer alle kliniese en administratiewe pligte binne die Departement.
• Betrokkenheid by hospitaalkomitees en skakeling met ander departemente binne die hospitaal.
• Personeelopleiding teoreties en vaardighedeprestasie van mediese dokters en verwante mediese dissiplines by die hospitaal en verwysende hospitale.
• Ontwikkeling en implementering van SOP's.
• Verskaffing van kliniese ondersteuning en uitreikprogramme.
• Om deel te neem, te ondersteun en navorsing relevant tot die radiologiedepartement te bevorder.
• Vermoë om navorsing te inisieer en uit te voer, sal 'n voordeel wees.
• Wees 'n rolmodel vir studente en personeel.
• Voer pligte uit wat deur die mediese bestuurder toegewys word.
• Handhaaf gehalteversekeringsstandaarde en ander departementele beleide.
• Verskaffing van doeltreffende radiologie- buitepasientdienste.
• Vermindering van wagtyd en agterstande.
• Verseker effektiewe spesialisdienste om by te dra tot optimale en gehaltegesondheidsorg in ooreenstemming met die visie, missie en waardes van Gauteng department of health.
• Verseker voldoening aan SOP's en kliniese protokolle.
• Toesig en effektiewe benutting van mediese personeel.
• Verantwoordelik vir opleiding en onderrig van mediese interne, junior dokters en mediese studente.
• Woon alle relevante vergaderings by.
• Woon toepaslike VAO-aktiwiteite by.
• Voldoen aan die Prestasiebestuur- en Ontwikkelingstelsel (kontraktering, kwartaallikse hersienings en finale assessering).
• Verseker effektiewe uitreik na distrikshospitale.
• Neem deel aan akademiese aktiwiteite in die hospitaal en in die groep.
• Kliniese bestuur en risikobestuur.
• Volle deelname aan gehalteversekeringsprogramme, voorkoming/bestuur van pasientveiligheidsvoorvalle en klagtes.
