Vereistes

  • n Relevante NQF-vlak 6-kwalifikasie in Internasionale Betrekkinge / Politieke Wetenskap.
  • Vyf (5) jaar se ervaring in internasionale betrekkinge.
  • Kennis en begrip van internasionale politiek en die verskil tussen multilaterale en bilaterale ooreenkomste.
  • Kennis van die ontwikkeling van beleide en hul prosedures.
  • Kennis en begrip van navorsing.
  • Begrip van die Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
  • Kennis van bilaterale/multilaterale bestuursake.
  • Kennis van gelykegeleenthede en regstellende aksie-riglyne en wette.
  • Kennis van administratiewe en skrywerklike prosedures en stelsels.
  • Begrip van departementele beleide en prosedures.
  • Probleemoplossing en ontleding.
  • Mense- en diversiteitsbestuur.
  • Kliëntoriëntasie en klantfokus.

  • Doen navorsing en stel kortingsdokumente, posisiedokumente en verslae op om bilaterale betrekkinge te ondersteun.
  • Fasiliteer internasionale belanghebbende-betrokkenheid, ondersteun relevante belanghebbende-konsultasies, handhaaf betrekkinge met buitelandse regerings, Ambassades, Hoë Kommissies en entiteite.
  • Fasiliteer en neem deel aan bilaterale fora, ondersteun strategiese intervensies en die vorming van vennootskappe vir internasionale waterSamewerking.
  • Opstel van relevante dokumente soos voorleggings, briewe, kortingsnotas.
  • Help met die vestiging van nuwe strategiese vennootskappe.

Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. A pre-entry certificate obtained from the National School of government is required prior to the appointment. All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. Candidates will be required to complete a financial disclosure form and undergo security clearance. Foreigners or dual citizenship holders must provide a police clearance certificate from country of origin (only when shortlisted). The Department of Water Sanitation is an equal opportunity employer.
