Bestuur die Direktoraat Myngesondheid en -veiligheid in Cape Town, en voer oudits en inspeksies uit oor mynveiligheid, toerusting en beroepshigiëne.
Vereistes
- Baccalaureusgraad in mynbouingenieurswese, elektriese/meganiese ingenieurswese (NQF 7) PLUS Sertifikaat van Bevoegdheid as Mynbestuurder of gevorderde diploma, Sertifikaat van Bevoegdheid vir meganiese of elektriese ingenieurswese (myne) met minimum van 5 jaar senior/middelbestuurservaring in mynbou en 'n geldige bestuurderslisensie.
- Kennis van: Praktiese en teoretiese kennis van mynbou. Regskennis.

Pligte
- Bestuur die Direktoraat Myngesondheid en -veiligheid.
- Verseker die uitvoering van en verslagdoening oor alle ondergrondse, skag- en oppervlakte-oudits en -inspeksies oor aangeleenthede rakende mynveiligheid, myntoerusting, beroepshigiëne en -geneeskunde.
- Verseker die uitvoering van en verslagdoening oor alle ondersoeke na mynverwante ongelukke en siektes, oortredings en klagtes.
- Verskaf die nodige verslae oor mynsluitings, prospekteerregte, mynregte en permitte, EMP's en dorpontwikkeling.
- Verskaf streekverslae, hersiening van mynwetgewing, riglyne en standaarde; en toepassings van vrystellings, toestemmings en goedkeurings.
- Verseker die uitvoering, toetsing en lisensiëring van toerusting op myne bv. haspelaars, hysbakke, stoellifte, boilers en voer statutêre inspeksies uit.
- Verseker die hou van enige nodige eksamenkommissie.

All shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical exercise and interview. Shortlisted candidates will be assessed through practical exercise and an oral interview. PSC includes security screening and vetting, qualification verification, criminal records, financial records checks.
