'n Student Skakelbeampte word gesoek vir die Balfour-sentrum om studentesteun, beroepsleiding en inwydingsdienste binne die TVET-omgewing te verskaf.
Vereistes
- 'n Graad/Nasionale Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Sosiale Wetenskappe of Onderwys of Sielkunde of 'n verwante kwalifikasie erken deur SAQA, 1-2 Jaar werkservaring in Studentesteundienste of Onderwys- en Leeromgewing of verwante veld.
- Kennis: Bewese kennis van die openbare sektor, Kennis van TVET-omgewing, bewese kennis van sielkunde, onderwysagtergrond, openbare dienste-raamwerk, openbare dienste-wet, openbare dienste-regulasies, openbare bestuurswet, Tesourie-regulasies, Batho Pele-beginsel.
- Vaardighede: Rekenaarvaardigheid (MS, Word, Excel, Ms PowerPoint), Administratiewe, kommunikasie en luister, uitstekende projektbestuur, selfvertroue en energie om verhoudings te bou, vermoë om te prioriteer, onafhanklik te werk en sperdatums te haal, buigsaamheid om buite gereelde ure te werk sterk oog vir besonderhede, doseringservaring in fundamentele programme sal 'n vereiste wees, goeie spanwerk, probleemoplossing.
Pligte
- Verskaf studenteskakeldienste by die sentrum, Begelei studente en baan hul loopbane, Bestuur die inwyding van die studente by die sentrum, Verskaf welsynsondersteuning aan studente deur tussen belanghebbendes/persone te skakel, Berei weeklikse ondersteunings- en maandelikse verslae voor, Help studente soos en wanneer nodig, Help met akademiese ondersteuningsplan vir geïdentifiseerde studente, Begelei studente om die regte besluit te neem en hul prestasie te verbeter, Verseker dat daar deurlopende bewustheid en vlak van kennis in MIV/Vigs aan studente is.
- Spreek sosio-ekonomiese studenteaangeleenthede toepaslik aan insluitend middelafhanklikheid en ander relevante aangeleenthede, Bevorder gereelde bywoning deur studente en monitor die bywoningsregister, Doen huisbesoek wanneer nodig en onderhou/beraadpleeg studente, personeel, gesinne en ander relevante belanghebbendes om bydraende faktore wat verband hou met lae bywoningskwessies te identifiseer, ondersteun studente, gesinne deur afwesigheidsvermindingsprogramme vas te stel en te lewer, bestuur die fundamentele ondersteuningsprogramme, portuur-opvoederprogramme in die studentesteunsentrum by die sentrum, bestuur van aansoek- en plaseringsproses.
