Grondwerkerpos by Voelvlei-skema in die Wes-Kaap, wat 'n ABET-sertifikaat vereis en plantegroei-afsnysel, onkruiddodertoediening en onderhoud van kanaalinfrastruktuur behels.

Vereistes

• 'n ABET-sertifikaat of 'n toepaslike kwalifikasie.
• Nul tot een jaar werkservaring.
• Bykomende jare se ervaring in die uitvoer van handearbeid sal 'n voordeel wees.
• Die volgende kennis en bevoegdhede word vereis: Kennis van die uitvoer van verskeie algemene werk en die hantering van toerusting en apparaat.
• Kennis van tuinmaaktoerusting insluitend grasonderhoudsprosesse en die volgende bevoegdhede word vereis ( snoei- en knipprosesse en tegnieke).
• Kennis van chemiese gebruik (verdunning/meng) en chemiese produk kennis.
• Kennis van daaglikse onderhoudsprosedures vir doeltreffende masjien/toerustingprestasie.
• Basiese kennis ter ondersteuning van waterbenutting en waterhulpbronstrategie.
• Kennis van gesondheids- en veiligheidsprosedures.
• Kennis van tuinonderhoud en plantpraktyke.
• Basiese begrip van Regeringswetgewing.
• Goeie kommunikasievaardighede en die vermoë om in 'n span te werk.
• Moet in of naby riviere, damme en kanale, en in eng ruimtes kan werk.
• Moet in staat en gewillig wees om ander skemas en onderhoudspanne by te staan wanneer nodig.
• Moet stip, produktief en lojaal wees.
• Goeie kommunikasie en interpersoonlike verhoudinge.

Pligte

• Sny plantegroei en pas onkruiddoder toe.
• Sny bome en gras op toonavlak op walke.
• Maak onkruid en sand by brûe, kanale en oorlope skoon.
• Maak sandvange en lang oorlope skoon.
• Verwyder puininslate en uitlatestrukture.
• Inspekteer en herstel heinings.
• Maak kanaalduikers skoon.
• Vul en kompakteer gate op toegangspad.
• Vul en kompakteer gate op walke.
• Verwyder puinneerslag binne kanaal.
• Maak toerusting skoon.
• Verwyder alle afval volgens prosedures.
• Maak glas- en plastiekware skoon volgens prosedures.
• Handhaaf akkurate rekords, soos werkkaarte en toerustingreparasielogs.
• Neem inventaris van skoonmaakmateriaal.
• Vra skoonmaakmateriaal aan soos en wanneer nodig.
• Maak stoorkamers, kombuis, kantore, gange en raadsale en enige ander omgewing wat vir skoonmaak toegewys is, skoon.
• Ledig afvalmandjies.
• Berei raadsale vir vergaderings voor.
• Rangskik erdwerk, eetgerei en bestek wat tydens vergaderings benodig word.
• Was en hou voorraad van erdwerk, eetgerei en bestek.
• Vul en hervul drinkwaterhouers.
• Maak rusruimtes skoon.
• Hervul handwasvloeistof en toiletpapier.
• Rapporteer gebreekte masjiene en toerusting.

One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. Candidates will be required to complete a financial disclosure form and undergo security clearance.
