Vereistes
- 'n Relevante tersière kwalifikasie op NKK vlak 7 in Risikobestuur / Interne Oudit / Rekeningkunde / Koste- en Bestuursrekeningkunde / Ekonomie.
- Drie (3) jaar verwante ondervinding op toesighoudingsvlak in Risikobestuur / Interne Oudit.
- Openbaarmaking van 'n geldige onverstreke bestuurslisensie.
- Kennis van die Wet op Openbare Finansiële Bestuur (WOFB), Tesouriersregulasies en riglyne, Raamwerk vir Risikobestuur in die Openbare Sektor, COSO ERM-raamwerk, King IV-verslag oor korporatiewe bestuur, beleide vir anti-bedrog en korrupsie.
- Begrip van strafreg en handelsreg, arbeidsverhoudings, wetgewing, beleide en prosedures.
- Analitiese, strategiese bestuur, finansiële bestuur, fasilitering, ondersoeke, ondervraging en mensebestuur Rekenaargeletterdheid. Tydbestuur.
- Goeie kommunikasievermoë in mondelinge en geskrewe vorm.
- Interpersoonlike, aanbiedings-, beplannings- en organisasievermoë.
- Die kandidaat moet bereid wees om gereeld te reis.

- Toesig hou oor en implementeer Risikobestuurstrategieë / beleide en stelsels vir die Direktoraat insluitende Gebied-kantore.
- Bevorder 'n risikobewustsynskultuur en voer risikobeoordelings uit deur die Direktoraat deur middel van kommunikasie- en trainingsprogramme.
- Implementeer 'n geïntegreerde risikobestuurraamwerk vir alle aspekte van risiko oor die Direktoraat.
- Bestuur die hulpbronne binne die Risikobestuureenheid.
- Vang Risikobestuurinligting op 'n Risikoregister en op die Departementele Risikobestuursagteware.
- Stel risikorapparte saam.
- Bystaan die bestuursleiding by Risikobestuurverslagdoening.
- Voer risikobestuuropleiding en bewusmakingsprogramme deur die Direktoraat uit.
- Fasiliteer en adviseer oor die Risikobestuurbeoordelingsproses.
- Toesig hou oor en voer studies en ontledings uit om risiko's te identifiseer om die interne en eksterne organisasie vast te stel.
- Hou toesig oor werknemers om 'n doeltreffende risikobestuurdiens te verseker.
- Monitor en hersien risikoresponsstrategieë.

Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. A pre-entry certificate obtained from the National School of government is required prior to the appointment. All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. Candidates will be required to complete a financial disclosure form and undergo security clearance. Foreigners or dual citizenship holders must provide a police clearance certificate from country of origin (only when shortlisted). The Department of Water Sanitation is an equal opportunity employer.
