Vereistes
- Nasionale Diploma in Maatskaplike Wetenskap op NKW-vlak 6.
- Vyf (5) jaar se ondervinding in 'n watervoorsiening-omgewing.

- Verskaf ondersteuning in die implementering van beleid en strategie op watervoosiening-leweringsprogramme.
- Verskaf ondersteuning in die implementering van watervoorsieningsbeleid en -strategie deur die watervoosiening-sektore.
- Verskaf ondersteuning in die implementering van basiese huishoudelike watervoorsieningsbeleide.
- Fasiliteer werkswinkels om bewustheid oor beleide en riglyne te skep.
- Implementeer watervoosiening-strategie deur WSDPs en verseker naleving van die basiese huishoudelike watervoorsieningsbeleid en riglyne.
- Verskaf ondersteuning aan die watervoorsieningssektor in sakebeplanning, beoordeling en monitering.
- Die implementering, koördinering en afstemming van WS-opleiding en kapasiteitsbou aan WSAs en ander WSIs.
- Die bemagtiging en kapasiteitsbou van nuut-verkose raadslede in watervoosiening-sake.
- Die verskaffing van vaardigheidsontwikkeling aan werklose jongmense om werksgeleenthede te skep.
- Verskaf ondersteuning met watervoosiening-kapasiteitsbou.
- Die voorstaan van watergebruiksdoeltreffendheid binne die watervoorsieningssektor.
- Bevorder watervoosiening-voorligtingsprogramme.
- Bystaan met die bevordering van gesondheids- en higiënebewustheid deur die implementering van WASH-programme om waterverstekke siektes te verminder.
- Bestuur die integrasie van gesondheids- en higiëne in water- en sanitasie-onderwysprogramme.
- Die bestuur van die komponent.
- Bestuur menslike hulpbronne en finansies binne die afdeling.
- Neem deel aan die werwing en keuring van personeel.
- Bestuur die ontwikkeling van individue in die afdeling.
- Verseker dat HRD-beleide vir alle personeellede binne die afdeling toegepas word.

Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. A pre-entry certificate obtained from the National School of government is required prior to the appointment. All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. Candidates will be required to complete a financial disclosure form and undergo security clearance. Foreigners or dual citizenship holders must provide a police clearance certificate from country of origin (only when shortlisted). The Department of Water Sanitation is an equal opportunity employer.
