Oorsig

Die Suid-Afrikaanse Polisiediens soek 'n Veiligheidswagtuas op Vlak 03 om toegangsbeheer en identifikasie-pligte uit te voer.

Vereistes

  • Aansokers moet bevoegdheid in die kernfunksies van die pos toon.
  • Wees vloeiend in ten minste Engels en een ander offisiële taal.
  • Wees 'n burger van die Republiek van Suid-Afrika waarvan dokumentêre bewys op die onderhouddag voorgelê moet word.
  • Wees in besit van 'n Graad 10/Standaard 8/NCV-vlak 2-sertifikaat/verslag (NKK-vlak 2 soos deur SAQA erken), waarvoor dokumentêre bewys op aanvraag voorgelê kan word.
  • Geldige registrasie by die Regulatory Authority vir die Privaatsekuriteitssektor (PSIRA).
  • Wees in besit van ten minste 'n Graad C-sekuriteitssertifikaat of hoër.
  • Nie verklaar as onbevoeg om 'n vuurwapen in besit te hê nie.
  • Bereid wees om vuurwapenoefening en die handhawing van vuurwapenbevoegdheid te ondergaan.
  • Ter sake kursusse in die veld van die pos sal as 'n bykomende voordeel dien. 'n Geldige bestuurslisensie vir ten minste 'n ligte motorvoertuig sal ook as 'n bykomende voordeel dien.
  • Bereid wees om in skuiwe en verlengde ure te werk.
  • Kennis, Vaardighede en Bevoegdhede: Kennis van toegangsbeheerprosedures.
  • Kennis van maatreëls vir die beheer en beweging van toerusting en voorrade.
  • Kennis van voorgeskrewe sekuriteitsprosedures (bv.
  • MIS, NISA, Wet op Inligtingsbeskherming, ens.) en die gesag van sekuriteitsofficiere onder hierdie dokumente.
  • Kennis van die toepaslike noodproserures.

Pligte

  • Voer Toegangsbeheer uit ingevolge die Wet op Beheer van Toegang tot Openbare Persele en Voertuie (Wet Nr. 53 van 1985).
  • Positiewe identifikasie van werknemers, besoekers en kontrakteurs by die sekuriteitstoegang.
  • Registrasie van werknemers, besoekers en kontrakteurs, elektroniese soektog van werknemers, besoekers en kontrakteurs.
  • Maak toelating tot die perseel vir werknemers, besoekers en kontrakteurs magtig nadat hulle aan al die wetgewende vereistes voldoen het, bevestig besoeke met die gashere en verseker begeleiding in ooreenstemming met die voorskrifte;
  • Gee toelatingbeheerkarte aan besoekers uit en ontvang dit terug.
  • Hou die nodige besoekerregister.
  • Kontroleer verskaffer, artikels en voorwerpe, waar nodig, voordat hulle na die perseel gebring mag word om te verseker dat die veiligheid van die perseel nie bedreig sal word nie;
  • Patrol geboue en afheinings.
  • Wag voertuie en toerusting in die veld – Slegs vanuit 'n sekuriteitstandpunt.
  • Kontroleer al sekuriteitsurusting en fasiliteite en neem aksie waar nodig;
  • Bring enige tekortkomings of probleme met betrekking tot sekuriteitskwessies onder die aandag van senior sekuriteitspersoneel.

Short-listed candidates for appointments to certain identified posts will be vetted in terms of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences and Related Matters) Amendment Act, 2007 (Act No 32 of 2007) and the Children’s Act, 2005 (Act No 38 of 2005). A candidate whose particulars appear in either the National Register for Sex Offenders or Part B of the Child Protection Register, will be disqualified from appointment. Candidates are expected to disclose if he/ she is a respondent in an interim or final protection order in terms of the Domestic Violence Act, 1998 (Act no 116 of 1998) or Protection from Harassment Act, 2011 (Act No 17 of 2011), and may be disqualified from appointment. The Criminal Law (Forensic Procedures) Amendment Act, Act 37 of 2013 requires that all new appointments in the South African Police Service as from 31 January 2015 provide a buccal (inside cheek) sample to determine their forensic DNA profile. The forensic DNA profile derived from the sample will be loaded to the Elimination Index of the National Forensic DNA Database. Appointments will be made in terms of the Public Service Act, 1994 (Act No 103 of 1994) as applicable to the post environment. Persons who retired from the Public Service by taking a severance package, early retirement or medical retirement, as well as persons with previous convictions, are excluded.
