Senior Security Officer by die Grondwetlike Hof wat ondersoeke voer en beskermingsmaatreëls vir die Regterlike Mag implementeer.
Vereistes
- Aansoeker moet in besit wees van 'n driejarige Nasionale Diploma in Sekuriteit of ekwivalente kwalifikasie op NQF-vlak 6 met 360 krediete soos deur SAQA erken.
- Minimum drie (3) jaar ondervinding waarvan twee (2) jaar op Sekuriteitstoesighouderniveau. 'n Geldige bestuurslisensie, 'n geldige Graad 'A' Private Security Industry Regulations Authority (PSIRA) geakkrediteerde sertifikaat.
- Alle gekeurde kandidate moet 'n pre-entry praktiese oefening onderneem as deel van die evalueringsmetode om die kandidaat se geskiktheid op grond van die pos se tegniese en generiese vereistes te bepaal.
- Vaardighede en Bekwaamhede: Kennis van die Access to Public Premises and Vehicles Act, toegangsbeheerprosedures, sekuriteitsverklaarde wetgewing, voorgeskrewe sekuriteitsprosedures (insluitend MISS, NISA en die Protection of Information Act), noodprosedures, beheer van toerusting en voorrade en Batho Pele-beginsels.
- Rekenaargeletterd, goeie kommunikasie, numeriese vaardighede, organisasie, toesigshouding, tydbestuur, probleemoplossing en analise, beplanning, luister, projekbestuur, vermoë om onafhanklik en in 'n span te werk, vertroulikheid, tydbeperk, asserief, selfgemotiveerd, buigbaar, eerlikheid en integriteit.
Pligte
- Sekuriteitsondersoeke voer, sekuriteitsinsidente rapporteer en maatreëls implementeer om die Regterlike Mag, hofgebruikers, amptenare en bates te beskerm.
- Met handhawing en sekuriteitsrolspelers liaise oor ondersoeke, inligtingslekke en sekuriteitskendinge.
- Sekuriteitsgregels vir amptelike geleenthede en hoëprofielhofsaken koördineer.
- Sekuriteitsrisiko's identifiseer en assesseer, dreiging- en risiko-assesserings voer en risikobeperkingsstrategieë implementeer.
- Doeltreffende sekuriteitsdienste voorsiening verseker, insluitend alarmstelseltoesighouding, insidenteondersoek en rapportering van defekte sekuriteitstoerusting.
- Beheerkamerbedryf administreer, insluitend toegangsbeheer, CCTV-toesighouding, insidentrapportering, footage-ondersoeke en instandhouding van sekuriteitsregisters.
- Sekuriteitspersoneel toesien deur skofrosters, verlof, prestasie, dissipline, opleiding en naleving van Beroepsgesondheids- en Veiligheidsvereistes te bestuur.
- Naleving van departementsale sekuriteitsbeleid, -prosedures en diensstandaarde deur beide interne en uitgesourcede sekuriteitspersoneel verseker.

The Organisation will give preference to candidates in line with the Employment Equity goals. All shortlisted candidates, including SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One must be a practical exercise, and the other must be an Integrity (Ethical Conduct) Assessment. Selection panels shall score both technical exercises as an additional criterion in the interview process. All shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical exercise and interview. Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. Applicants could be required to provide consent for access to their social media accounts. Prior to appointment for SMS, a candidate would be required to complete the Nyukela Programme: Pre-entry Certificate to Senior Management Services as endorsed by DPSA which is an online course, endorsed by the National School of Government (NSG). The course is available at the NSG under the name Certificate for entry into the SMS and the full details can be sourced by the following link: https://www.thensg.gov.za/training-course/sms-pre-entry- programme/. Each application form must be fully completed, duly signed and initialed on both pages by the applicant. The application must indicate the correct job title, the office where the position is advertised and the reference number as stated in the advert. Failure by the applicant to complete, sign and initial the application form will lead to disqualification of the application during the selection process. Applications on the old Z83 will unfortunately not be considered. Should you be in possession of a foreign qualification, it must be accompanied by an evaluation considered. Suitable candidates will be subjected to a personnel suitability check (criminal record, financial checks, qualification verification, citizenship checks, reference checks and employment verification).
