Professionele siviele ingenieur benodig om stelsels te ontwerp, projekte te beplan en koste-effektiewe ingenieursoplossings te ontwikkel.
Vereistes
- Minimum vereistes: Aansoeker moet in besit wees van 'n Graad 12-sertifikaat en 'n Ingenieursgraad (B Eng / BSC Eng) of relevante kwalifikasie.
- Registrasie met die Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as 'n Professionele Ingenieur.
- Minimum van 3 jaar post-kwalifikasie-ingenieursondervinding. 'n Geldige bestuurderslisensie.

- Ontwerp nuwe stelsels om praktiese ingenieringsprobleme op te los en doeltreffendheid te verbeter en veiligheid te verhoog.
- Beplan, ontwerp, bedryf en onderhou ingenieursrojekte.
- Ontwikkel koste-effektiewe oplossings volgens standaarde.
- Evalueer bestaande tegniese handboeke, standaardtekeningen en prosedures om nuwe tegnologie in te liywing.
- Ontwikkel soekkuntspesifikasies.
- Evalueer beplanning en skakel in ooreenstemming met deeglike ingenieursbeginsel, volgens norme en standaarde asook gedragskode.
- Goedkeur ingenieurswerk volgens voorgeskrewe norme en standaarde.
- Ontwikkel nuwe ingenieringsnorme en standaarde en gedragskode.
- Bestuur menskapitaalontikkeling.
- Fasiliteer opleiding en ontwikkeling van Tegnisiane, Tegnologe en Kandidaatingenieus om vaardigheids-/kennisverspreiding en naleving van deeglike ingenieursbeginsel en gedragskode te bevorder.
- Kontroleer ingenieurswerk en prosesse.
- Voer prestasiebestuuring en ontwikkeling van ondergeskiktes uit.
- Bestuur kantooradministrasiestake en begroting.
- Fasiliteer hulpbronbenutting.
- Neem na van regulasies en prosedures vir verkryging en personeelsadministrasie.
- Monitor en beheer uitgawes op projekte.
- Rapporteer oor uitgawes en dienslewering.
- Voer navorsing en ontwikkeling uit.
- Bly op hoogte met nuwe tegnologieë en prosedures vir professionele ontwikkeling.
- Navorsing/literatuurstudies oor ingenieringstegnologie om kundigheid te verbeter.

- Verskaf kundigheidsadvies oor gespesialiseerde ingenieursaaangeleenthede.

Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity.
