Izidingo

• Minimum requirement: Basic numeracy and literacy.
• Experience: Appropriate experience in general laundry functions.
• Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when required.
• A valid driver’s license to transport linen to central laundry.
• Ability to perform hard physical tasks, e.g. pushing heavy linen trolleys to and from linen bank and wards.
• Load and offload of heavy linen bags 25kg+ between facilities and central laundry.
• Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of stock and infection control.
• Ability to sort, sluice and count linen of dirty and fouled linen.

• Provide a professional service in the institution.
• Perform basic routine task in the linen bank under supervision.
• Ensure affective and efficient stock control.
• Ensure safe and hygiene working area standards.
• Adhere to loyal service ethics.
• Provide support to supervisor.
