- Grade 12 plus a recognised National Diploma/Undergraduate (NQF 6) in Supply Chain Management or other related qualification with a minimum 03 years work experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Skills And Competencies: Knowledge and understanding of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National Treasury Regulations, Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA) of 2000 and Preferential Procurement Regulations, Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) Act and other related procurement prescripts Knowledge of BAS, Logis and BPA systems.
- Computer literacy.
- Good interpersonal Skills and commitment to customer care.
- Analytical thinking, Report writing skills, Verbal and written communication.
- Problem solving and conflict resolution, Facilitation and People Management Skills coupled with ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels.

- To develop and update contract register, evaluate contract performance, Serve as a secretariat of the Bid Adjudication Committee.
- Perform general contract administrative duties, evaluate performance of SCM officials, Report on equity/empowerment contracts, Safeguarding of contract related documentation and files.
- Ensure that all active contracts are captured on contract management systems.
- Ensure compliance with SCM policies and applicable prescripts.
- Contribute to contract dispute resolutions through the Contract Management Committee.

All shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical exercise and interview. Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates only. The successful candidate will be expected to enter into an employment contract and a performance agreement within 3 months of appointment. Failure to comply with the above instructions will result in your application being disqualified.
