- Grade 12 plus a recognised Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF level 7) qualification in Human Resource Management / Public Admin / Public Management or any related field.
- A minimum 3 years working experience at Assistant Director level within Human Resource Management and Development environment.

- Public Service Act as amended, Public Service Regulations, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Relevant PSBC resolutions and directives, Computer literacy (Microsoft Office package) PERSAL) Knowledge of BPA system.
- A valid driver's licence.

Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. The successful candidate will be expected to enter into an employment contract and a performance agreement within 3 months of appointment.
