- Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on medical equipment.
- Conduct functional performance verification.
- Inspect equipment for safety and operational compliance.
- Ensure maintenance is performed according to manufacturer recommendations.
- Maintain maintenance schedules and service records.
- Corrective Maintenance: Diagnose equipment faults.
- Perform repairs on electronic, electrical, electro- mechanical and biomedical equipment.
- Replace defective components.
- Verify equipment performance following repairs.
- Return equipment to clinical service after safety testing.
- Calibration and Performance Testing: Calibrate medical devices using approved biomedical test equipment.
- Verify measurement accuracy.
- Maintain calibration records.
- Ensure traceability of calibration standards.
- Installation and Commissioning: Install new medical equipment.
