• NOMA Impilo yezikolo engu-4 year bachelor's degree kubwelogu (R174) noma iziqiniselo ezilinganayo (R683 kusithi R1497 noma R171 kusithi R1497) ezivumela inkokhelo kuSouth African Nursing Council (SANC) njengonesi ochwepheshe.
• Izonjululwazi ye-postgraduate diploma (R635) ekhethiwe kuSANC ku-Peri-operative Nursing.
• Inkokhelo kuMkela Ochwepheshe: Inkokhelo kuSANC njengonesi ochwepheshe.

• Ukunethezeka ukuba-on call ngemva kwamahora wethiyetha.
• Ukunethezeka ukusizetha ngezikhathi zesikhumbuzo kanye nokukhubeka sesikhungo sezibhedlela emva kwamahora kufaka nawekwenza, izilizali ezipubhlikhi, umsebenzi wabusuku nokugcina okuya ngezidingo zokusebenza.
• Izikhono (ulwazi/imikhiqizo): Ulwazi olunzulu kanye nokuqonda kwezinqubo zenensi nezempilo ehlobene, umthetho, imikhakha kanye nokusebenza.

Umsebenzi

• Nikeza abasebenzi okunesikhungo okusezingeni elophanzi, okunabona lonke, kukunesi okukhethiwe ngaphakathi kwezimangalo ezikhaziwe kanye ngaphakathi kwensimu yochwepheshe, yomthetho njengonesi ochwepheshe endaweni ye-Operating Theatre.
• Sebenzisa umuntu, izinto zomthetho kanye nezindlela zomthetho ngephuzu kanye ngokwemininingwane.
• Sebenza ngaphakathi kwamavula e-IPC, OHAS, Ukuphathwa kweRiska, Isiqinisekiso Sekhwaliti, izikhakha zesibhedlela, izinqubo kanye namapholiche.
• Ukunikeza usizo olufanele kuMnesi uMnazimela kanye nokugcina ukulakha ochwepheshe kanye nokuzikhulisa nobukhulu.

No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. Candidates who are not in possession of the required qualification will be appointed into the general stream, and they will be required to obtain the necessary qualification within the predetermined period of time. Candidates who are not in possession of the stipulated registration requirements, may also apply. Such candidates will only be considered for appointment on condition that proof of application for registration to register with the relevant council and proof of payment of the prescribed registration fees to the relevant council are submitted on or before the day of the interview. This concession is only applicable to candidates who apply for the first time for registration in the post basic qualification in Medical and Surgical Nursing Science: Operating theatre technique (R212) or post graduate diploma accredited with the SANC in Peri- operative Nursing (R635). It will be expected of candidates to be available for selection interviews on a date, time and place as determined by the Department. Kindly note that excess personnel will receive preference. All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment.
