An administration clerk is sought for supply chain management duties including demand management, bid advertising and procurement at the Western Cape Department of Health head office.

• Minimum educational qualification: Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas of the post.
• Experience: Appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management.
• Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of SCM processes.
• Knowledge of Financial Management.
• Knowledge of Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPF).
• Knowledge of Broad Black Based Economic Empowerment (BBBEE).
• Knowledge of Construction Industry Development Board (CIBD).

Imiqobo

• Demand and acquisition management of goods, services and infrastructure.
• Advertising bids and sourcing quotation via EPS.
• Preparation of procurement batches for the Quotation Committee.
• Adjudication of bids via EPS.
• Ensure that all transactions comply with legislative and prescripts requirements.
• Prepare and process all documentation for BAS payments.
• Update and record all Projects on the Engineering database.
• Assist with general ad hoc functions as and when required.
