- The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a culture of excellence, including the professionalisation;
- Identifying relevant stakeholders;
- Managing the maintenance of an updated stakeholder database;
- Facilitating secretariat responsibilities for engagements;
- Coordinating continued professional development;
- Facilitating the establishment of working groups or task teams to create synergy on the implementation of skills programmes;
- Providing monthly and quarterly programme progress report updates;
- Developing SLAs and MOAs for potential partners and service providers;
- Collaborating with relevant bodies, introduce mechanisms to facilitate the introduction of an RPL system within the tourism sector;
- Creating oversight mechanism for government programmes;
- Coordinating of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in the tourism sector human resource development;
- Developing a project plan for implementation of the RPL skills training programme;
- Conducting quality assurance of documents received from service providers e.g. reports and invoices;
- Conducting onsite monitoring of projects/programme under implementation;
- Report progress of RPL skills training implemented by appointed service provider/s

Some of the interviewed candidates for Senior Management level vacancies may be subjected to a 2-day competency assessment that will test generic competencies.
