- Grade 12 plus a recognised National Diploma in Public Administration or a related qualification recognised by SAQA.
- A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in an administrative environment or related field.
- Skills And Competencies: Sound knowledge of financial and procurement procedures.
- Knowledge and understanding of departmental policies, procedures and prescripts.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the legislative and regulatory framework governing the Public Service, including the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act No. 1 of 1999) (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPFA), and other legislation relevant to the post.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with supervisors, colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Good organisational, interpersonal and administrative skills.
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, work extended hours when required, and perform duties with minimal supervision.
- The successful candidate must demonstrate responsibility, integrity, loyalty and honesty.
- A valid driver's license will be an added advantage.

The successful candidate will be expected to enter into an employment contract and a performance agreement within 3 months of appointment.
