Overview

Household AID (MATERNITY and Neonatal) at Department of Health and Wellness in Langeberg Sub-district.

Requirements

  • Minimum educational qualification: Basic numeracy and literacy.
  • Experience: Appropriate household aid experience.
  • Competencies (knowledge/skills): Basic knowledge of cleaning and the use of cleaning of equipment.
  • Ability to communicate (verbal and written).
  • Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to work weekends, overtime, public holidays, night duty.
  • The incumbent must be able to and be willing to work shifts.
  • The incumbent must be physically able to lift and move heavy objects and work on feet for a 12-hour shift.

Duties

  • Renders effective, efficient and safe hygiene and household /food services in Langeberg Sub District.
  • Renders support services to Household supervisor/foodservice supervisor.
  • Contributes to effective: management of domestic responsibilities.
  • Contributes to effective utilisation and functioning of apparatus and equipment.
  • Adheres to loyal service ethics.
