Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC) / Grade 9 (Std 7).
- Experience: Appropriate experience in laundry services.
- Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to do manual labour (heavy linen bags) and assist in other departments when required.
- Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and overtime.
- Able to handle heavily soiled linen containing human excretions and blood.
- Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communication skills.
- Ability to accept accountability and responsibility and to work independently and unsupervised.
- Knowledge of Laundry Services.
Duties
- Monitor of contracted Hospital Linen Supervisor Provider.
- Monitor of Hospital Linen.
- Supervise hygiene, occupational health and safety.
- Supervise the maintenance and control of apparatus and equipment.
- Management and administrative function.
