Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification: General Education and Training Certificate (GETC) / Grade 9 (Std 7).
• Experience: Appropriate experience in laundry services.
• Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to do manual labour (heavy linen bags) and assist in other departments when required.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and overtime.
• Able to handle heavily soiled linen containing human excretions and blood.
• Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communication skills.
• Ability to accept accountability and responsibility and to work independently and unsupervised.
• Knowledge of Laundry Services.

Duties

• Monitor of contracted Hospital Linen Supervisor Provider.
• Monitor of Hospital Linen.
• Supervise hygiene, occupational health and safety.
• Supervise the maintenance and control of apparatus and equipment.
• Management and administrative function.
