Requirements

  • NQF Level 7 in Financial Accounting /Auditing.
  • Driver’s license. 3- 5 years of experience at supervisory/ junior management level (ASD) in local government sphere within Provincial Grants Management.

Duties

  • Manage and implement the monitoring of provincial grants management in Local government and transferring provincial departments (TPDs) to enhance compliance with the legislation and related regulations.
  • Manage and implement the monitoring of unspent provincial grants in local government and transferring provincial departments (TPDs) to enhance compliance with the legislations and related regulations.
  • Manage intergovernmental relations (internally and externally) including participation in intergovernmental meetings, workshops, collaboration sessions.
  • Manage the support provided to municipalities pertaining to provincial grants management.
  • Management of the resource.
