Internship: Operation Systems Support Services

Overview

An internship providing operational systems support at the Unemployment Insurance Fund in Pretoria, requiring an undergraduate qualification in Operations Management, Computer Science, or Informatics.

Requirements

• An undergraduate qualification in Operations Management/ Computer Science/ Informatics at NQF Level 6 as recognized by SAQA.
• No experience required.
• Never participated in any internship programme (for both public and private sector).
• Knowledge: Operations Systems.
• Systems Development and Database Management.
• Skills: Report writing.
• Computer Literacy. Communication.
• Research Methodology.
• Analytical and Creativity.
• Problem Solving. Presentation.
• Planning and Organizing.

Duties

• Administer the registration of new users on the operational system.
• Maintain user management on the operational system.
• Administer operational system on calls logged.

The Graduate Programme is meant to provide work exposure to graduates in their fields of studies.
