Internship: ICT Risk and Security

Overview

ICT Risk and Security internship at the Unemployment Insurance Fund in Pretoria requiring an IT-related NQF level 6 qualification with no prior internship experience.

Requirements

• An undergraduate qualification in Information Technology / Computer Science / Information Systems /.
• Informatics / Computer Systems Engineering at NQF level 6 as recognized by SAQA.
• No experience required (Never participated in any Internship Programme (both Public / Private sector).
• Knowledge: Protection of Personal Information (POPIA).
• Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA).
• Electronic Communication and Transactions Act (ECTA).
• Cybercrimes Act.
• National Archives and Records Services Act.
• Skills: Financial Management.
• Communication (Written and Verbal). Presentation.
• Computer Literacy. Analytical.
• Problem Solving.
• Report Writing.
• Planning and Organizing.

Duties

• Support in developing and implement information security policies, procedures and standards.
• Provide support in ensuring availability of business – critical Information Communication Technology services and applications.
• Provide support in monitoring and evaluate Information Communication Technology risk and policy compliance.
• Provide Support in the development, Implementation and maintenance of Business Continuation and disaster recovery plan.

The Graduate Programme is meant to provide work exposure to graduates in their fields of studies.
