Internship: IT Infrastructure Support

Overview

IT infrastructure support internship at the Unemployment Insurance Fund in Pretoria, requiring an NQF level 6 IT qualification and no prior internship experience.

Requirements

• An undergraduate qualification in Information Technology / Computer Science / Information Systems / Informatics / Computer Systems Engineering at NQF level 6 as recognized by SAQA.
• No experience required (Never participated in any Internship Programme (both Public / Private sector).
• Knowledge: Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
• Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA).
• Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA).
• Cybercrimes Act.
• National Archives and Records Service Act.
• Skills: Problem Solving. Presentation.
• Planning and Organizing. Analytical.
• Communication Skills Both Written and Verbal.
• Ability to influence.
• Computer Literacy.
• Report Writing.

Duties

• Provide support in installation, configuration, maintenance of LAN and WAN (Local.
• Area Network, Wide Area Network).
• Provide support in network monitoring functions (LAN and WAN).
• Support in planning and providing technical expertise.
