Internship: IT Business Support

Overview

IT business support internship at the Unemployment Insurance Fund in Pretoria, requiring an undergraduate IT qualification at NQF level 6 with no prior internship experience.

Requirements

• An undergraduate qualification in Information Technology/ Computer Science / Information Systems/ Informatics / Computer Systems Engineering at NQF level 6 as recognized by SAQA No experience required (Never participated in any Internship Programme (both Public / Private sector).
• Knowledge: State Information Technology Agency (SITA) Processes.
• Infrastructure and Network Architecture Design.
• Electronic Communication Transaction Act.
• Electronic Document Management System.
• Minimum Information Security Standards (MISS).
• Skills: Communication (Witten and Verbal). Presentation.
• Computer Literacy. Analytical.
• Problem Solving.
• Report Writing.
• Planning and Organizing.

Duties

• Provide desktop support and computer systems.
• Prepare hardware and workstation support for users.
• Provide support in maintaining maximum access of Technology equipment.
• Support functioning of technology.

The Graduate Programme is meant to provide work exposure to graduates in their fields of studies.
