• Die ampshouer sal verantwoordelik wees vir die uitvoer van werfbesoeke en verslagdoening oor dringende sake.
• Om gereelde onderhoude en konsultasies met gevangenes en DCS-amptenare rakende klagtes en verpligte sake uit te voer.
• Ontvang en vaslegging van alle klagtes/versoeke op die databasis.
• Oopmaak en instandhouding van saaklêers.
• Opvolg van uitstaande klagtes.
• Indiening van maandelikse verslae.
• Voorsiening van statistiese ontleding van alle ontvangste klagtes.
• Bystand aan navrae.
• Uitvoer van alle redelike opdragte deur die toesighouer/Streeksbestuurder.
