Vereistes

• Minimum opvoedkundige kwalifikasie: Kwalifikasie wat registrasie by die South African Nursing Council (SANC) as 'n Nursing Assistant moontlik maak.
• Registrasie by 'n professionele raad: Registrasie by die South African Nursing Council (SANC) as 'n Nursing Assistant.
• Ervaring: Grade 1: Geen.
• Grade 2: 'n Minimum van 10 jaar toepaslike/erkenbare ervaring in verpleging na registrasie by die SANC as 'n Nursing Assistant.
• Grade 3: 'n Minimum van 20 jaar se toepaslike/erkenbare ervaring in verpleging na registrasie by die SANC as 'n Nursing Assistant.
• Inherente vereistes van die werk: Vermoë om skofte gedurende dag en nag te werk, naweke en openbare vakansiedae en oortyd wanneer deur toesighouer vereis.
• Bereidwilligheid om tussen verskillende Funksionele Besigheidseenhede te roteer.
• Bevoegdhede (kennis/vaardighede): Deeglike kennis van SANC-regulasies wat verpleegpraktyk voorskryf.
• Die vermoë om onafhanklik in 'n multidissiplinêre span te funksioneer en die vermoë om die span te lei om gehalteverpleegsorg te verseker.
• Goeie interpersoonlike en kommunikasievaardighede.
• Vermoë om met konfliksituasies om te gaan en goeie besluite onder druk te neem.

Pligte

• Bystand aan pasiënte met aktiwiteite van daagse lewe (fisiese versorging).
• Verskaf elementêre kliniese verpleegsorg.
• Effektiewe benutting van fisiese en finansiële hulpbronne.
• Handhaaf professionele groei / etiese standaarde en selfontwikkeling.
