Verpleegassistenten benodig by Elsies River CHC en Morning Star CDC om basiese kliniese verpleegsorg te verskaf onder die Western Cape Department of Health.

Vereistes

• Minimum opvoedkundige kwalifikasie: Kwalifikasie wat registrasie by die South African Nursing Council (SANC) as 'n Verpleegassistent moontlik maak.
• Registrasie by 'n professionele raad: Registrasie by die SANC as 'n Verpleegassistent.
• Ervaring: Graad 1: Geen na registrasie by SANC as 'n Verpleegassistent.
• Graad 2: 'n Minimum van 10 jaar toepaslike/erkenbare ervaring in verpleging na registrasie as 'n Verpleegassistent by SANC.
• Graad 3: 'n Minimum van 20 jaar toepaslike/erkenbare ervaring in verpleging na registrasie as 'n Verpleegassistent by SANC.
• Inherente vereistes van die werk: Bereidwilligheid om oortyd te werk wanneer nodig.
• Sal verlang word om skofte te werk, openbare vakansiedae, nagdiens, buite kantoorure en naweke.
• Moet bereid wees om in alle departemente te assisteer volgens operasionele behoeftes.
• Vermoë om onder druk te werk.
• Bevoegdhede (kennis/vaardighede): Goeie kommunikasievaardighede en vermoë om te kommunikeer (skriftelik en mondelings).
• Vermoë om in 'n multidissiplinêre span te werk.
• Verbeter pasiëntsorg deur die implementering van SOP's, beleide en riglyne.

Pligte

• Verskaf basiese kliniese verpleegsorg.
• Assisteer pasiënte met aktiwiteite van daaglikse lewe wat pasiënthigiëne insluit, voeding verskaf, help met mobiliteit en eliminasieprosesse.
• Monitor pasiëntvitale tekens en rapporteer enige abnormale bevindings.
• Rapportering oor pasiëntveiligheid en nadelige voorvalle.
• Effektiewe benutting van hulpbronne.
• Handhaaf professionele groei/etiese standaarde en selfontwikkeling.
• Neem aktief deel aan in-diens opleidingsintervensies.
