Mediese Spesialis in Ortopediese Chirurgie gesoek vir Red Cross Children's War Memorial Hospital om pediatriese ortopediese sorg te verskaf, studente toe te rig en aan navorsing deel te neem.

Vereistes

• Minimum opvoedkundige kwalifikasie: Toepaslike kwalifikasie wat registrasie by die Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as Mediese Spesialis in Ortopediese Chirurgie toelaat.
• Registrasie by 'n professionele raad: Registrasie by die Health Professional Council of South Africa as Mediese Spesialis in Ortopediese Chirurgie.
• Ervaring: Grade 1: Geen na registrasie by HPCSA as 'n Mediese Spesialis in Ortopediese Chirurgie.
• Grade 2: 'n Minimum van 5 jaar se toepaslike ervaring na registrasie by die HPCSA (of erkende buitelandse Health Professional Council ten opsigte van 'n buiteland gekwalifiseerde werknemer) as 'n Mediese Spesialis in Ortopediese Chirurgie.
• Grade 3: 'n Minimum van 10 jaar se toepaslike ervaring na registrasie by die HPCSA (of soos erken deur 'n buitelandse Health Professional Council ten opsigte van 'n buiteland gekwalifiseerde werknemer) as 'n Mediese Spesialis in Ortopediese Chirurgie.
• Bevoegdhede (kennis/vaardighede): Kliniese vaardigheidstel om effektiewe buite- en binnepasiëntesorg te verskaf.
• Chirurgiese kundigheid in pediatriese muskuloskeletale toestande.
• Vermoë om in 'n hoëdruk, hoëvolume en hulpbronnebeperkte omgewing te werk.
• Vermoë om binne 'n span te funksioneer.
• Vermoë om vaardighede oor te dra en junior personeel en studente te onderrig.
• Rekenaarvaardighede om funksionering binne 'n digitale omgewing / gereedskap moontlik te maak.
• Rekenaarvaardigheid en databasisbestuur.
• Leierskap, kommunikasie en organisatoriese vaardighede.

Pligte

• Verskaffing van hoëgehalte buitepasiënt-, binnepasiënt- en chirurgiese sorg van pediatriese ortopediese pasiënte.
• Bestuur van pediatriese ortopediese verwysingstelsel en teaterlyste.
• Toesig oor leerlinge.
• Onderrig en opleiding van alle grade personeel.
• Deelneem aan tersaaklike navorsingsaktiwiteite in die departement.
• Effektiewe bestuur binne die eenheid om te verseker dat toerusting in stand gehou word en ortopediese dienste doeltreffend funksioneer.
• Bydrae tot die gesondheidsekosysteem waar nodig.
