Vereistes

• Kwalifikasie (d.w.s. diploma/graad in verpleegkunde) of gelykwaardige kwalifikasie wat registrasie by die SANC as 'n Verpleegassistent toelaat.
• Registrasie by die SANC as Verpleegassistent.
• Ervaring: Graad 1: Geen.
• Graad 2: 'n Minimum van 10 jaar se ervaring na registrasie by die SANC as 'n verpleegassistent.
• Graad 3: 'n Minimum van 20 jaar se ervaring na registrasie by die SANC as Verpleegassistent.

Pligte

• Help pasiënte met aktiwiteite van daaglikse lewe (fisiese sorg).
• Verskaf elementêre kliniese verpleegsorg.
