• Nasionale Senior Sertifikaat, 'n Graad in Meganiese Ingenieurswese (B Eng/BSC (Eng) of 'n toepaslike kwalifikasie.
• Ses (6) jaar ervare na kwalifikasie word vereis as 'n geregistreerde professionele Ingenieur.
• Verpligte registrasie by ECSA as Professionele Ingenieur.
• Statutêre Sertifisering: 'n Geldige Regeringsertifikaat van Bevoegdheid (GCC Fabrieke) is hoogs verpligtend vir aanlegte wat 3000 kW / 10000 kVA oorskry.
• Bevoegdhede: Program- en projekbestuur, ingenieursontwerp en analise-kennis, navorsing en ontwikkeling, rekenaargesteunde ingenieurstoepassings.
• Kennis van wetlike nakoming, tegniese verslagskrywing, skep van 'n hoëprestasiekultuur, professionele oordeel, netwerk bou.
• Strategiese vermoë en leierskap, probleemoplossing en analise, besluitneming, spanleierskap, kreatiwiteit, finansiële bestuur, klienfokus en reaksievermoë, kommunikasie, rekenaarvaardighede, mensebestuur, beplanning en organisering, konflikbestuur, onderhandelingsvaardighede, veranderingsbestuur.
• Omvattende kennis van die Public Service Act, PFMA, en die OHS Act.
• Sterk ingenieursrisiko-evaluering, oorsaakanalise, en strategiese logika.
• Uitstaande tegniese verslagskrywing en professionele kommunikasievaardighede. 'n Geldige bestuurderslisensie. Rekenaarvaardig.

Pligte

• Statutêre nakoming: Aanvaar formeel die skriftelike GMR 2.1-benoeming om toesig te hou oor alle masjienonderhoud en veiligheidsvereistes volgens die OHS Act-regulasies en -standaarde.
• Ingenieursbestuur: Handhaaf beroepsgesondheids- en veiligheidsstandaarde, lei voorvalondersoeke, voer veiligheidsrisiko-oudits uit, en skakel met die Department of Employment and Labour-inspekteurs.
• Onderhoud en batebestuur: Ontwikkel, bestuur en oudit voorkomende, korrigerende en voorspellende ingenieursonderhoudstelsels om aanleg- en toerusting-bedryfstyd te maksimeer.
• Begrotings- en projekbeheer: Beheer Capex- en operasionele begrotings, bestuur werfdienste, onderhoudsprojekte en koördineer onderhouds- en herstelafskakelings.
• Menseleierskap: Oorsien tegniese personeel, bestuur werkplekdisipline, en monitor prestasie en ontwikkeling.
