Vereistes

• Minimum educational qualification: Qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Staff Nurse.
• Registration with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
• Experience: Grade 1: None.
• Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
• Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
• Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to work overtime, nightshift, weekends and public holidays.
• Willingness to rotate within the hospital in different wards.
• Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge and experience of Community Mental Health at Primary Health care level.
• Basic Computer literacy (MS Office).
• Ability to function independently, as well as in a multi-disciplinary team to ensure good patient care.
• Good communication skills.
