Vereistes

• Die suksesvolle kandidaat moet 'n Graad 12-sertifikaat hê plus 'n 3-jaar tersiêre kwalifikasie Graad/B-Tech/Nasionale Diploma (NQF Level 6/7) in Sport and Recreation Management/ Sport Science/ Sport Development/ Sport Administration, of 'n relevante kwalifikasie soos deur SAQA erken.
• Geen ervaring word vereis nie.
• Relevante ervaring sal 'n bykomende voordeel wees. 'n Bestuurderslisensie.
• Vaardighede: Die kandidaat moet oor Kommunikasie;. Rekenaarvaardigheid;
• Interpersoonlike verhoudings beskik.

Pligte

• Koördineer die vestiging en verskaf ondersteuning aan sport- en ontspanningsstrukture in skole, wyke en plaaslike gebiede, in samewerking met belanghebbendes.
• Fasiliteer volhoubare kapasiteitsontwikkelingsprogramme in sport binne die skole, wyke, plaaslike gebiede en distrikte.
• Implementeer sport- en ontspanningsprogramme in die skole, wyke en plaaslike gebiede vir die ontwikkeling van sport en ontspanning.
• Monitor en evalueer nakoming van sport- en ontspanningstransformasiebeleid.
• Lewer administratiewe funksies met betrekking tot programme wat geïmplementeer word.

Applications should be submitted on a new Z83 form. “Applicants are advised that until 31 December 2020 the current application for employment (Z83) form will be applicable, however from 01st January 2021, a new application form which can be downloaded at www.dpsa.gov.za-vacancies. All shortlisted candidates, including the SMS, shall undertake two pre-entry assessments. One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. All shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical exercise and interview. Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity.
