Vereistes

• Minimum opvoedkundige kwalifikasie: Toepaslike kwalifikasie wat registrasie by die Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as Mediese Praktisyn moontlik maak.
• Registrasie by 'n professionele raad: Registrasie by die HPCSA as Mediese Praktisyn (Onafhanklike Praktyk).
• Inherente vereiste van die werk: Gerooide oortyd is verpligtend.
• Nood- en buite-ure oproepdekking.
• Elke Registrateur sal in 'n spesifieke opleidingshospitaal aangestel word maar sal oor die verspreide opleidingsplatform heen moet werk.
• Geldige (Kode B/EB) bestuurderslisensie, bereidwilligheid en vermoë om te reis.
• Bevoegdhede (kennis/vaardighede): Primêre Eksamen – Deel 1 FC Rad (Diag.) SA.
• Outeurskap kliniese ondervinding in enige aspek van diagnostiese beelding.
• Doeltreffende leierskap- en interpersoonlike vaardighede.
• Toepaslike en voldoende kliniese ondervinding sedert die verwerwing van die MBChB-graad.
• Kennis en praktiese vaardighede.
• Toepaslike algemene mediese en radiologie-ondervinding.
• Rekenaarvaardighede insluitend tik, die bestuur van sigblaaie en die gebruik van databasisse.
• Uitstekende mondelingse en skriftelike kommunikasievaardighede.

• Lewering van 'n veilige, omvattende 24-uur tersiêre vlak diagnostiese diens aan pasiënte by Tygerberg Hospital en geassosieerde opleidingshospitale.
• Lewer tydig en akkurate radiologiese verslae en help met optimale werkvloei deur beeldingsdomeine.
• Voer buite-ure dienste ter plaatse uit volgens die oproeprooster.
• Bywoon van onderrigprogramaktiwiteite, tutoriale en assesserings as deel van die registrateur-opleidingsprogram.
• Bystand met die opleiding van mediese studente, verpleegpersoneel en radiograaf.
• Aanleer van kritieke vaardighede wat van 'n Radioloog vereis word.
• Betrokkenheid by navorsing/oudits met betrekking tot Radiodiagnose.

No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. Appointment as Registrar will be for a maximum contract period of 5 years. It may become necessary to second/transfer staff to another hospital/institution during their period of training, in which case affected staff will be consulted prior to any decision being implemented. Registrars will function across health facilities, as per an agreed programme. Should registration with the HEI as a student be discontinued for any reason the appointment as a Registrar also discontinues. Consideration will be given to existing employees who are already on higher salary packages to retain their existing salary position, as personal.
