Vereistes

  • Graad (12) sertifikaat of gelykwaardig plus 'n drie (3) jaar Nasionale Diploma/ Graad (NQF vlak 6/7) in Sosiale Wetenskappe, LLB, Ontwikkelingsstudies, Polisiërings- en Gemeenskapsontwikkeling.
  • Vyf (5) jaar se tersaaklike werkervaring binne 'n veiligheids- en sekuriteitsomgewing waarvan drie (3) tot vyf (5) jaar se ervaring op 'n juniobestuursvlak (Assistent-direkteur).
  • Geldige Kode EB (08) bestuurderslisensie.
  • Kennis: Kennis en begrip van die Geïntegreerde Misdaad- en Geweldvoorkomingsstrategie, Kennis van die Witverklaring oor Veiligheid en Sekuriteit, Kennis van die SAPS-wet, Kennis van die Burgerlike Sekretariaatwet, Kennis van die Openbare Dienswet en Regulasies.

Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. SMS appointments are also subjected to SMS competency assessment as a DPSA requirement. All shortlisted candidates for SMS posts and positions with requisite skills will be subjected to a technical exercise that intends to test relevant technical elements of the job. Applicants who do not possess SMS Pre-Entry Certificate shall be considered for shortlisting and interviews, but cannot be appointed before they successfully obtain the certificate.
