Direkteursrol wat toesig hou oor regulerende stelsels en belanghebbende betrekkinge binne die Free State Department of Economic Development and Tourism.
Vereistes
- Toepaslike Baccalaureusgraad soos deur SAQA erken (NQF 7) in Ekonomie of Besigheidsbestuur. 5 jaar se ervaring op 'n middel-/ senior bestuursvlak. 7 jaar ervaring met 'n rolfokus op die koördinasie van sektorbelanghebbendes en 'n diepgaande begrip van die omgewing vir besigheidsregulerende bestuur.
- Ervaring in die bestuur van katalitiese projekte, insluitend die ontwikkeling van projekte, die toewysing van hulpbronne en die monitering van vordering.
- Begrip van beleggingsbevordering en -fasilitering.
- Begrip van die finansiële implikasies verbonde aan reguleringseenheid en belanghebbendebestuur.
- Rekenaarvaardigheid. 'n Geldige bestuurderslisensie.
- Die volgende sal 'n bykomende voordeel wees: Goeie kennis van toepaslike wetgewing wat Sektorbestuur reël.
- Kennis van Projekbestuur.
Pligte
- Verskaf ondersteuning om staatsburokrasie te bespoedig en te verminder vir die doeltreffende implementering van beleggingsprojekplanne.
- Kweek en versterk blywende belanghebbende betrekkinge vir beide die departement en die provinsie.
- Fasiliteer en bevorder die Beleggingswaardeketting in verband met beleggingsprojekte.
- Hou toesig oor die implementering van katalitiese projekte van die privaatsektor in die Provinsie.
- Implementeer departementele programme wat voortspruit uit Uitvoerende Raadsbesluite, Begrotingsstembevels en vergaderings met instellings soos die Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) en relevante Publieke Entiteite.
- Dra by tot die ontwikkeling van Strategiese dokumente vir die Departement.
- Bestuur die hulpbronne van die Direktoraat, d.w.s. menslike, bates- en finansiële hulpbronne.

To be appointed at Senior Management Service (SMS) level, you must complete the SMS Pre-entry programme offered by the National School of Government (NSG). All shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will be subjected to a technical exercise and interview. Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence and integrity. Assessment for core competencies outlined in the SMS Handbook shall be conducted within one month of the appointment of the candidate. The department shall communicate the logistics for the psychometric assessment to the candidate. All shortlisted candidates for other posts, shall undertake a pre-entry assessment which will be in the form of a practical / technical exercise. Candidates will also be assessed on Integrity (Ethical Conduct). Selection panels shall score the technical exercise as an additional criterion in the interview process.
