Post-basic apotheekassistentposisies beskikbaar by verskeie Western Cape-klinieke, wat apothekers ondersteun met die voorbereiding van voorskrifte, die samestelling van medisyne, etikettering en verskaffing.

Vereistes

• Minimum opvoedkundige kwalifikasie: Soos deur die opleidingsfasiliteit en die South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) vereis, plus 'n Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant-kwalifikasie wat registrasie by die SAPC as 'n Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic) (Institutional) moontlik maak.
• Registrasie by 'n professionele raad: Registrasie by die SAPC as 'n Pharmacist's Assistant (Post-Basic) of as Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic) (Institutional).
• Ervaring: Grade 1: Geen na registrasie by die SAPC as Pharmacist's Assistant (Post-Basic).
• Grade 2: 'n Minimum van 5 jaar se toepaslike ervaring as Pharmacist Assistant na registrasie as 'n Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic) by die SAPC.
• Grade 3: 'n Minimum van 13 jaar se toepaslike ervaring as Pharmacist Assistant na registrasie as 'n Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic) by die SAPC.
• Bevoegdhede (kennis/vaardighede): Goed rekenaarvaardig.
• Vermoë om as deel van 'n span of onafhanklik te werk.
• Vermoë om onder druk te werk.
• Vloeiend in JAC, Medsas en RMD.
• Vertroud met die CDU-stelsel.

Pligte

• Voer die volgende dienste of handelinge uit onder die direkte persoonlike toesig van 'n apoteker: Bystand verleen met die lees en voorbereiding van 'n voorskrif, die seleksie, manipulasie of samestelling van die medisyne, die etikettering en verskaffing van die medisyne in 'n toepaslike houer na aanleiding van die interpretasie en evaluering van die voorskrif deur 'n apoteker.
• Bystand verleen met die verskaffing van instruksies aangaande die korrekte gebruik van medisyne verskaf en inligting aan individue om gesondheid te bevorder.
• Bystand verleen met die verspreiding, beheer van en bestelling van medisyne en geskeduleerde stowwe.
• Bystand verleen met die samestelling of vervaardiging van 'n nie-steriele of steriele medisyne of geskeduleerde stof volgens 'n goedgekeurde formule en standaardbedryfsprosedures.
• Bystand verleen met algemene huishoudelike en administratiewe take.
