Plaaslike bystand benodig vir gewas- en veepligte, insluitend besproeiing, diereversorging en algemene onderhoud by die Outeniqua-plaas in die Wes-Kaap.

Vereistes

• Abet vlak 2-sertifikaat of gelykwaardig.
• Bevoegdhede: Kennis en begrip van die volgende: Konstruksie en onderhoud van plaasinfrastruktuur;
• Algemene onderhoud van infrastruktuur;
• Algemene plaaswerk;
• Werk met plaasdiere en weidings;
• Vaardighede in die volgende: Kommunikasie (skriftelik en mondelings);
• Vermoë om onafhanklik en as deel van 'n span te werk;
• Vermoë om gewigte van tot 50 kg te hanteer en te dra;. Syferkundigheid;. Geletterdheid;. Bestuur;
• Werking van toerusting.

Pligte

• Voer algemene aktiwiteite uit met betrekking tot gewasproduksie: Besproeiing van gewasse, Grondbewerking en voorbereiding (skoonmaak en skoffel);
• Voer algemene aktiwiteite uit met betrekking tot vee: Versorging van siek vee, dip, enting en dosering;
• Voer algemene aktiwiteite uit wat die volgende sal behels: Skoonmaak van fasiliteite, wegdoening van plaasafvalmateriaal;
• Voer algemene aktiwiteite uit met betrekking tot infrastruktuur: Onderhou en bou paaie, heinings, pyplyne, kanale, damme, drinktrogge, dierehuisse; bouery;
• Onderhou windmeulens en watertoevoerstelsel.
