Plaaslike hulp gesoek deur die Western Cape Department of Agriculture in Oudtshoorn vir algemene plaaswerk insluitend volstruisboerdery, veesorg en instandhouding van infrastruktuur.

Vereistes

• Abet vlak 2-sertifikaat of gelykwaardig.
• Bevoegdhede: Werkende kennis en begrip van die volgende: Volstruishennetjies grootmaak;
• Algemene plaaswerk;
• Algemene roetine-aktiwiteite ten opsigte van infrastruktuur;
• Uitvoer van roetine-aktiwiteite ten opsigte van vee;
• Uitvoer van roetine-aktiwiteite ten opsigte van plantproduksie;
• Hantering van volstruisse;. Navorsingstegnieke;
• Skoonmaakroetine-aktiwiteite ten opsigte van infrastruktuur: Vaardighede in die volgende: Kommunikasievaardighede (skriftelik en mondelings);. Syferkundigheid;. Geletterdheid;
• Bedryf van toerusting;
• Vermoë om onafhanklik en as deel van 'n span te werk.

Pligte

• Uitvoer van algemene aktiwiteite ten opsigte van vee: Sorg vir siek vee, dip, inenting en dosering;
• Uitvoer van algemene aktiwiteite wat die volgende behels: Skoonmaak van fasiliteite, wegdoening van plaasafvalmateriaal;
• Uitvoer van algemene aktiwiteite ten opsigte van infrastruktuur: Onderhou heinings, pyplyne, kanale, damme, drinktrôe, dierehuisvesting; bou;
• Onderhou watertoevoerstelsel.
