Vereistes

• 'n Geskikte Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc/BVMCh of ekwivalente kwalifikasie) wat deur die South African Veterinary Council erken word;
• Verpligte registrasie by die South African Veterinary Council (SAVC); 'n Minimum van 1 jaar na-kwalifikasie-ervaring; 'n Geldige (Code B of hoër) bestuurslisensie.
• Bevoegdhede: Kennis van die volgende: Uitgebreide veldwerk en blootstelling aan aansteeklike siektes;
• Vermoë om in hoëdruk-uitbraakomgewings te werk;
• Fisiese mobiliteit en vermoë om inspeksies en ondersoeke uit te voer;
• Beskikbaarheid vir buite-kantoorure en noodreaksie.
