  • Duties: Provisioning of work environment, managing office space allocation for the various units within the Department.
  • Provisioning of effective and efficient support to ensure that the building is properly maintained and fully Functional.
  • Provisioning of support to the Food Service Aids and Cleaners Supervisor to ensure service delivery standards are met.
  • Coordinating the provision of cleaning, refreshment, and refectory services.
  • Facilitation and maintenance of the Immovable Assets Register in compliance with the GIAMA Act.
  • Assisting with operational management, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of human resources and activities within the Facilities and Work Environment Unit.

Prior to appointment for SMS, a candidate would be required to complete the Nyukela Programme: Pre-entry Certificate to Senior Management Services as endorsed by DPSA, which is an online course, endorsed by the National School of Government (NSG).
