Assistentdirekteur-pos by die Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources in Pretoria met fokus op die ontwikkeling van batekrag-strategie op salarisvlak 10.
Vereistes
- A B Comm (Econometrics)-graad (NQF 7), geldige bestuurslisensie, 3 jaar se ondervinding in ekonomie/mynbou/statistiek of strategie-ontwikkeling.
- Kennis van: Begrip van die Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA), National Environmental, kennis van minerale kommoditeite en die batekrag-sektor, gevorderde kennis van regeringsbeleid van toepassing op mynbou- en minerale nywerhede.
- Vaardighede: Ontwikkelde vaardighede in strategie-ontwikkeling en implementeringsvaardighede, ondervinding in strategie- en beleidsontwikkelingsprosesse, insluitend die uitvoer van sosio-ekonomiese navorsing en omgewingsskanderings, sterk probleemoplossing, tydbestuur, interpersoonlike en organisatoriese vaardighede, goed ontwikkelde navorsings- en aanbiedingsvaardighede, bekwame kommunikasie insluitend openbare spreke en doeltreffende en bondige verslagskrywing, sterk analitiese vermoëns en belanghebbende-bestuur, data-analise.
- Denkvereiste: In staat om onafhanklik probleme/uitdagings te identifiseer en gepaste korrektiewe maatreëls te tref, die vermoë om komplekse sosio-ekonomiese navorsing, globale markneigings en minerale kommoditeitsdata te analiseer om strategiese geleenthede vir waardetoevoeging te identifiseer, die ontwikkeling van "buite-die-boks"-intervensies om "beperkende faktore" te omseil.
Pligte
- Voer navorsing uit om beperkinge wat minerale batekrag raak, te identifiseer en oplossings voor te stel.
- Verskaf ondersteuning in die ontwikkeling van beleids- en strategie-intervensies om beperkinge te oorkom en verdere plaaslike verwerking van minerale kommoditeite te bevorder.
- Bevorder plaaslike verwerking van minerale kommoditeite deur plaaslike en internasionale bevorderingsaktiwiteite.
- Verskaf logistieke ondersteuning by die beplanning en uitvoering van plaaslike en internasionale byeenkomste.
