Provinciale Inspekteurs word in verskeie Northern Cape dorpe benodig om padverkeerswetgewing toe te pas en voertuigondersoeke uit te voer.

Vereistes

• Matrikulasiesertifikaat of Graad 12.
• Geldige kode B-bestuurslisensie met handratkas.
• Verkeersbeampte-diploma geakkrediteer deur 'n Verkeersopleidingsinstelling wat deur die Road Traffic Management Corporation goedgekeur is. Rekenaargeletterd.
• Wees medies geskik en in staat wees om onder strawwe toestande te werk.
• SAPS-oorblyfselsertifikaat - Geen strafrekord of hangende saak nie.
• Bereid wees om getoets te word.
• Kennis en vaardighede: Goedehuis en hulpbronbestuur.
• Goedehuis klanteverhoudingsbestuursvaardighede.
• Voltooiing van regstoepasingsdokumente.
• Kennis en begrip van padverkeers- en openbare vervoerwetgewing, beleide en riglyne.
• Kennis van voertuigondersoeke en voertuigbeslaglegging.
• Kennis van die Vuurwapen- en Ammunisiewet 60/2000.
• Gedragskode binne die Publieke Diens.
• Kennis van oorlaadbeheer en eskortepligte.
• Kennis van operasionele riglyne oor regstoepasingstoerusting.
• Vermoë om onder druk te werk.
• Goeie waarnemingsvaardighede (bewegende oortredings/defekte).
• Goeie bestuurs- en onderhandelingvaardighede.
• Soliede interpersoonlike en konflikoplossingsvaardighede.
• Goeie skriftelike en mondelinge kommunikasievaardighede in ten minste twee van die provinsiale amptelike tale.

Pligte

• Handhaaf padverkeers-, openbare passassiers- en vervoerwetgewing.
• Ondersoek bestuurslisensies, motorvoertuie en voertuigtoetsingstasies.
• Verskaf sigbare verkeersbeheer/polisiëring en bevorder misdaadvoorkomingaktiwiteite.
• Voer alle administratiewe aktiwiteite en verwante pligte uit.

The provision of certified copies of qualifications will only be required from shortlisted candidates for submission on or before the day of the interview. Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit proof of RSA Citizenship/Permanent Resident permit. Should you be in possession of a foreign qualification, it is the applicant’s responsibility to have foreign qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) and to provide proof of such evaluation only when shortlisted. Correspondence will be limited to successful candidates only. Short-listed candidates will be expected to avail themselves at the Department’s convenience. The department reserves the right not to make appointments to the advertised posts. Incomplete applications, applications received after the closing date or applications without SAQA verification reports for foreign qualifications will not be considered.
