Skakel met waterbelanghebbendes en verskaf instellingsontwikkelingsondersteuning vir waterhulpbronbestuur, waarvoor Graad 12 en ervaring in gemeenskapsontwikkeling vereis word.

Vereistes

• 'n Senior/Graad 12-sertifikaat.
• Twee (2) tot vier (4) jaar ervaring in die veld van Gemeenskapsontwikkeling, Ontwikkelingstudies, Ekonomiese, Menslike of Sosiale Wetenskappe sal 'n bykomende voordeel wees.
• Die toepaslike kandidaat moet kennis hê van waterverwante wetgewing, beleid en praktyk. Rekenaarvaardigheid.
• Begryp waterhulpbronprogramme.
• Uitstekende mondelinge en skriftelike kommunikasievaardighede is essensieel.
• Die kandidaat moet in staat wees om onafhanklik of in 'n span te werk.
• Moes bewese ervaring hê in gemeenskaps- of landelike ontwikkeling asook omgang met ander sfere van Regering.
• Moet die vermoë hê om konflik deur 'n deursigtige en deelnemende benadering te bestuur, komplekse projekverwante probleme op te los, wetgewing, beleid en strategie te interpreteer en toe te pas. 'n Deeglike begrip van geïntegreerde waterhulpbronbestuur. 'n Geldige, nie-verstreke bestuurderslisensie en bereidwilligheid om uitgebreid te reis.
• Van die kandidaat word verwag om oor uitstekende aanbiedings-, navorsings-, tydbestuur- en projekbestuursvaardighede te beskik.

Pligte

• Skakel nou en verskaf ondersteuning aan waterbelanghebbendes insluitend boere (sowel kommersiële as ontluikende), alle sfere van regering, industrieë, plaaslike gemeenskappe en ander externe instellings.
• Verskaf advies en ondersteuning aan die instellingsontwikkelingsfunksie van waterhulpbronbestuur.
• Bystand verleen met die totstandkoming, koördinering en bestuur van Opvanggebiedvorms en Watergebruikersverenigings.
• Fasiliteer en reël belanghebbede- raadpleegingsessies vir die tariefbepalingsproses, die ontwikkeling van die Opvanggebiedbestuurstrategie en ander VOCMA-belanghebbende-inisiatiewe.
