Vereistes

  • Bevoegdhede: Kennis van Omgewingsbestuur, Omgewing, Bestuursmagtigingsondersteuning, Regulasies vir die evaluering van omgewingsimpak, Omgewingsbestuurstelsels, Begrip van Omgewingsbestuursake in verhouding tot magtigings sowel as toepaslike wetlike vereistes en prosesse.
  • Begrip van standaard administratiewe prosedures van die regering, Bewese Leierskap en Bestuur, Koördinasievaardighede, Organisatoriese en beplanning, Verhoudingsbestuur, Belanghebbende-betrokkenheid, Program- en Projekbestuur, Finansiële Bestuur, Veranderingsbestuur.
  • Kennisbestuur, Diensleweringinnoviasie (SDI Probleemoplossing en Analise, Mensebestuur en Bemagtiging, Kliëntoriëntasie en Kliëntfokus, Innovatief en proaktief.
  • Eienskappe: Goeie interpersoonlike verhoudings.
  • Vermoë om onder druk te werk en sperdatums na te kom.
  • Vermoë om in 'n span en onafhanklik te werk.
  • Sterk bestuursvaardighede.

Pligte

  • Bestuur en verskaf strategiese leierskap aan die Hoofdirektoraat en dra by tot die relevante programme en verantwoordelikhede binne die Hoofdirektoraat.
  • Hou toesig oor die bestuur en verskaffing van reaktiewe nakomings- en handhawingsdienste.
  • Hou toesig oor die verskaffing van nakomingsmoniterings- en handhawingsdienste.
  • Bestuur en administreer die verskaffing van nakoming, monitering en handhawing met betrekking tot die Wet op nasionale omgewingsbestuur biodiversiteit.
  • Verseker effektiewe bestuur van spanne en programme binne die departement wat nakoming met omgewingswetgewer oor die verskillende omgewingsektore moniteer en bevorder, insluitend afval en besoedeling, lugkwaliteit en biodiversiteitsbestuur.
  • Moniteer en bevorder nakoming met die National Environmental Management Biodiversity Act (NEMBA) 2004 en ander verwante regulasies.
  • Hou toesig oor hulpbronne (Menslik, Finansieel, Toerusting/Bates)
