Mediese Spesialis in Narkose gesoek vir Mowbray Maternity Hospital, Western Cape, om omvattende narkose- en kritiese sorgdienste te verskaf.

Vereistes

• Minimum opvoedkundige kwalifikasie: Toepaslike kwalifikasie wat registrasie by die Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as 'n Mediese Spesialis in Narkose toelaat.
• Registrasie by 'n professionele raad: Registrasie by die HPCSA as 'n Mediese Spesialis in Narkose.
• Ervaring: Graad 1: Geen na registrasie by die HPCSA as 'n Mediese Spesialis in Narkose.
• Graad 2: 'n Minimum van 5 jaar se toepaslike ervaring as Mediese Spesialis na registrasie by die HPCSA (of erkende buitelandse Health Professional Council ten opsigte van buitelands gekwalifiseerde werknemers) as Mediese Spesialis in Narkose.
• Graad 3: 'n Minimum van 10 jaar se toepaslike ervaring as Mediese Spesialis na registrasie by die HPCSA (of erkende buitelandse Health Professional Council ten opsigte van buitelands gekwalifiseerde werknemer) as 'n Mediese Spesialis in Narkose.
• Inherente vereiste van die pos: 'n Geldige bestuurderslisensie.
• Bevoegdhede (kennis/vaardighede): Toepaslike ervaring in verloskundige narkose.
• Vermoë om in 'n span en met alle vlakke van personeel te werk.
• Belangstelling in die opleiding van junior narkotiseerders en studente in 'n loopbaan in narkose. Rekenaarvaardigheid.

Pligte

• Om omvattende narkose- en kritiese sorgdienste aan pasiënte in die teater en die sale by Mowbray Maternity Hospital te lewer.
• Voor-operatiewe, intra-operatiewe en na-operatiewe narkosebestuur van chirurgiese pasiënte.
• Verskaf kliniese onderrig en opleiding van interniste, studente en verpleegkundige kollegas.
• Roterende deur die hospitale wat met die Universiteit van Kaapstad geaffilieer is, naamlik Groote Schuur Hospital, New Somerset Hospital en Mowbray Maternity Hospital.
• Bestuurspligte soos statistiek, voorleggings en navorsing.
• Bestuur van die epidurale en pynsorgdiens by Mowbray Maternity Hospital.
