Professionele Verpleegkundige (Graad 1 tot 3) by Valkenberg Hospital wat holistiese geestesgesondheidsverpleegsorg binne regtelike en professionele standaarde bied.

Vereistes

• Minimum opvoedkundige kwalifikasie: Basiese R425-kwalifikasie (d.w.s. diploma/graad in verpleegkunde) of gelykwaardige kwalifikasie (R683 plus R880) wat registrasie by die South African Nursing Council (SANC) as Professionele Verpleegkundige toelaat.
• Registrasie by 'n professionele raad: Registrasie by die SANC as Professionele Verpleegkundige.
• Ervaring: Graad 1: Geen.
• Graad 2: 'n Minimum van 10 jaar se toepaslike/erkenbare ervaring in verpleegkunde na registrasie as Professionele Verpleegkundige by die SANC in Algemene Verpleegkunde.
• Graad 3: 'n Minimum van 20 jaar se toepaslike/erkenbare ervaring in verpleegkunde na registrasie as Professionele Verpleegkundige by die SANC in Algemene Verpleegkunde.
• Inherente vereistes van die pos: Bereidwilligheid om skofwerk te doen, rotasie in nagdiens en oor naweke/openbare vakansiedae.
• Bevoegdhede (kennis/vaardighede): Goeie interpersoonlike, beplannings- en organisatoriese vaardighede.
• Rekenaargeletterdheid (MS Word, Excel & Outlook).
• Kennis van die Mental Health Care Act, Child Care Act, Nursing Act en ander tersaaklike wetgewing.

Pligte

• Lewering van optimale, holistiese verpleegsorg aan geestesgesondheidsgebruikers binne vasgestelde standaarde en 'n professionele/regtelike raamwerk.
• Doeltreffende benutting van hulpbronne.
• Handhaaf professionele groei/etiese standaarde en selfontwikkeling.
• Verskaf ondersteuning aan Verpleegdienste.
• Deelname aan opleiding en navorsing.

No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. Candidates who are not in possession of the stipulated registration requirements, may also apply. Such candidates will only be considered for appointment on condition that proof of application for registration to register with the relevant council and proof of payment of the prescribed registration fees to the relevant council are submitted on or before the day of the interview. This concession is only applicable on health professionals who apply for the first time for registration in a specific category with the relevant council (including individuals who must apply for change in registration status).
